The Hyatt Regency St. Louis is a premier full-service hotel renowned for its exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, and vibrant event spaces. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our culinary team as a Cook. This full-time position works on the 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM or 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM shift, playing a vital role in the kitchen operations to consistently deliver exemplary culinary products that exceed guests' expectations. The Cook will be expected to monitor daily food production, maintain quality and consistency of dishes, and oversee staffing levels and departmental training. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations, strong organizational and communication skills, and a solid understanding of cost control and guest service practices. This role requires culinary education and experience, with the ability to take charge in the hourly Sous Chef's absence, demonstrating leadership and initiative within a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

- minimum two years of culinary experience or currently enrolled in a culinary program
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capacity to perform repetitive tasks
- flexibility to work weekends and holidays
