Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • knowledge of food handling and kitchen equipment operation preferred
  • ability to follow instructions
  • physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • capability to lift and move weights up to 50 pounds
  • ability to perform repetitive motions
  • punctuality and regular attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • knowledge of basic operation of kitchen equipment and food-handling procedures preferred
  • ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • good working knowledge of food preparation
  • familiarity with kitchen equipment
  • ability to read and follow a recipe unsupervised

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards
  • follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving various food items
  • taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records to plan production and requisition supplies
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation
  • comply with safety and sanitation standards
  • perform significant walking and other mobility tasks
  • stand or walk for extended periods, potentially exceeding 8 hours
  • reach, bend, stoop, push, pull and frequently lift up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • perform repetitive motions
  • attend work regularly and show up on time
  • perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs and client requirements
