In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes according to standardized recipes and established production guidelines. Your day will involve setting up your workstation with all necessary ingredients and equipment, preparing items by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food components, and utilizing a range of kitchen utensils and appliances safely and effectively. Whether baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, or employing other cooking techniques, your culinary skill will be essential in delivering high-quality meals. Additionally, food presentation matters, so you'll arrange, garnish, and portion dishes following Aramark's standards.

Maintaining food safety is a core part of this role, including proper storage, adherence to health regulations, and sanitation of your work area, equipment, and utensils. You'll also be expected to maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, clients, co-workers, and customers. Safety in the kitchen is paramount, so compliance with company policies and food safety guidelines is strictly enforced.

Physical demands of the job may require lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing.
