The role of Cook at Panda Restaurant Group is a central position within the kitchen, vital to the restaurant's success in providing high-quality food and excellent service. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing dishes that meet company recipes and standards, ensuring both consistency and quality in every plate served. Beyond food preparation, this role includes supporting a vibrant and welcoming environment for guests, contributing to the overall dining experience that defines the Panda brand. Performances include all back-of-house responsibilities, requiring adherence to safety and sanitation protocols, timely preparation, and maintaining an organized kitchen.
Working as a Cook at Panda offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment encouraging growth and career advancement. The company provides hands-on paid training to ensure your success and offers ongoing career and leadership development opportunities. The environment is often hot and busy, with high noise levels and restricted space, which challenges employees to work efficiently and effectively without compromising on quality. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and handle kitchen equipment safely.
Panda Restaurant Group supports its employees with flexible schedules and competitive pay, along with comprehensive benefits for full-time associates, including medical, vision, dental insurance, and various income protection options. Additional perks include free meals during shifts, 401K plans with company match, paid vacation, sick leave, and bereavement leave, associate discounts, referral bonuses, and opportunities to contribute to community initiatives. These benefits reflect the company’s commitment to supporting its team members both professionally and personally.
