The company is deeply committed to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences through a culture that fosters inspiration, community involvement, and family values. Known for its vibrant and inclusive workplace, Panda Restaurant Group continually strives to build an organization where employees are encouraged to grow both personally and professionally. It prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity and inclusion, ensuring fair employment practices without discrimination on any legally protected basis. Panda Restaurant Group aims to inspire its team members and positively impact the communities it serves by maintaining an environment where people are treated with respect and provided with the tools and opportunities needed for success.

The role of a Panda Cook is central to the operation and success of each restaurant location. As a cook, you are seen as an important leader and a vital part of the kitchen team whose work contributes directly to the high-quality food and service standards Panda promises its guests. Within this fast-paced and growth-oriented environment, cooks are responsible for preparing dishes with passion, ensuring the recipes and presentation meet company standards, and assisting in creating a welcoming atmosphere for diners. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills while also gaining leadership experience through guiding and training kitchen team members. The kitchen environment is dynamic and requires careful attention to food safety and operational procedures. This role involves performing all back-of-house responsibilities, which means maintaining cleanliness, managing food storage properly, and adhering to local food handler certification requirements. Being physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting significant weights while working efficiently is also necessary.

Panda Cook associates receive comprehensive training and ongoing career development to help them succeed and grow within the company. Flexible scheduling and competitive pay are part of the package, alongside benefits such as medical, vision, and dental insurance, a 401K plan with company match, and paid leave options. Additional perks include free meals during work shifts, associate discounts, referral bonuses, and opportunities to participate in community service. The company values its employees and provides them opportunities for advancement into management roles, emphasizing a culture that supports growth and leadership development. By joining Panda Restaurant Group as a cook, you become part of a respected brand with a rich history, a commitment to quality food and service, and a team-oriented work environment that values every individual’s contributions.
