With nearly 2,800 locations globally, Panda is renowned for delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences. The company emphasizes family values, community involvement, and fostering an inclusive and inspiring environment for its team members. Panda’s mission is centered on not just serving delicious food but also making a positive impact on the lives of its employees and the communities where it operates. As a well-established brand in the fast-casual dining sector, Panda offers opportunities for growth, hands-on training, and career development while maintaining a family-oriented work culture.
The role of a Cook at Panda is pivotal to the company’s success. Our Panda Cook associates are vital leaders within our team, representing the heart of the kitchen where culinary excellence and genuine hospitality meet. As a Cook, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of preparing food with passion, delivering service with heart, and contributing to the warm ambiance that makes Panda's dining experience enjoyable for every guest. This fast-paced, growth-oriented position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic kitchen environment where quality and service standards are paramount.
In this role, you will support creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for guests, ensuring every dish is prepared to meet the company’s strict recipes and quality standards. As a team leader within the kitchen, you will assist in guiding and training kitchen staff, contributing to their professional development and fostering a cohesive workplace. You will manage all back-of-house responsibilities, working efficiently within a kitchen that demands accuracy, speed, and teamwork. The position requires physical stamina as the work environment involves standing for long periods, handling hot foods, and using specialized kitchen equipment. Your contributions will be essential in upholding Panda’s reputation for outstanding food quality and exceptional service.
Panda values its associates by offering great pay, flexible schedules, and comprehensive benefits for full-time employees. These benefits include medical, vision, and dental insurance, as well as voluntary short-term disability and cancer income protection insurance. Additional benefits like health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, 401K with company match, paid vacation, sick leave, bereavement leave, and various associate discounts are provided to support employee well-being. Panda also offers referral bonuses, community engagement opportunities, ongoing leadership development, and paths for career advancement, including transitions into management roles. Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for all benefits to qualify.
Panda Restaurant Group is committed to equal opportunity employment and fostering a diverse workforce. The company complies with all federal, state, and local laws regarding workplace accommodation and prohibits discrimination based on numerous protected characteristics including gender, race, disability, and more. Reasonable accommodations are available upon request to ensure applicants can fully participate in the hiring process. Joining Panda means becoming part of a dedicated team that values leadership, growth, and community impact while enjoying a respectful and supportive work environment.
