Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year experience working as a cook, pantry cook, or baker
  • Ability to read and understand standardized recipes
  • Availability to work half-time, including weekends and day shifts
  • Commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow food safety protocols and workplace safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year of experience as a cook, pantry cook, or baker
  • Ability to read and understand standardized recipes
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capability to work part-time with weekend and day shifts

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook all food items according to standardized recipes and dietary guidelines
  • Portion and serve meals to patients, associates, and visitors
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all cooking and food preparation areas
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assist with catered events by preparing and serving food as required
  • Collaborate with the Food Service Supervisor to manage kitchen inventory and supplies
  • Adhere to all workplace safety regulations to provide a safe working environment
