The organization is committed to fostering a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all patients, visitors, and staff. Known for its dedication to excellence in healthcare services, Southwest General offers a supportive working environment that values professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

This role of Cook at Southwest General is a critical position within the Food Service Department, responsible for preparing, cooking, portioning, and serving nutritious meals to patients, associates, visitors, and catered events. Reporting directly to the Food Service Supervisor, the Cook must abide by stringent sanitation standards to ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are met. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in food preparation, a keen eye for detail in following standardized recipes, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This position requires practical skills in various cooking techniques and the ability to manage food portions appropriately to uphold both quality and cost-effectiveness.
