The company is currently seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join their team as Cooks. This role is integral in maintaining the high standards that Red Lobster is known for, focusing on food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and safety. The Cook will be responsible for setting up and stocking prep and line stations, ensuring all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and organized, and verifying the freshness and quality of ingredients used. Additionally, the Cook will prepare, season, and cook food items according to prescribed recipes, quantity requirements, and portion control systems. Maintaining sanitary food-handling practices and assisting other kitchen staff during peak business periods are also vital duties. Job Duties

  • Setting up and stocking prep and line stations
  • cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
  • checking the quality and freshness of ingredients
  • prepping, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes, quantity calls, and specification while maintaining portion control systems
  • inspecting food preparation and serving areas, tools, and equipment to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices
  • substituting for or assisting other cooks and kitchen positions during peak business periods
