As a Cook at Raising Cane's, you will play a crucial role in setting the pace of the restaurant by ensuring all food served meets the company’s high-quality standards. This role is situated in the kitchen, a vibrant environment where hard work meets fun, often with music cranking up to keep energy levels high. Your focus will be on preparing the highest quality chicken finger meals customers expect from Raising Cane's. Entry-level applicants as well as those with experience in fast food, retail, customer service, or restaurant positions are encouraged to apply. The company provides paid training so that even those without prior restaurant experience can succeed and grow within the organization.

In this role, you will have the opportunity for career advancement, potentially moving into positions such as Bird Specialist or Certified Trainer within the first year, which comes with pay increases up to $1.50 per hour based on training, certifications, and performance. The Cook position requires a dependable, hardworking individual who communicates effectively, enjoys collaborative teamwork, and takes pride in delivering excellent food. Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • ability to show up to scheduled shifts on time
  • provide all customers with quick and friendly service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment helpful but not required
  • excellent communication skills

  • strong multitasking abilities
  • positive attitude and enthusiasm for food service
  • dependable and responsible work ethic

Job Duties

  • Lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds
  • kneel, bend, twist or stoop
  • ascend or descend stairs
  • reach and grasp objects including above head and below waistline
  • clean tables, floors and other areas of the restaurant
  • take orders from customers and process payments efficiently
  • follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food
