Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of basic equipment operation and food-handling procedures preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good working knowledge of food preparation
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment
  • Ability to read and follow a recipe unsupervised

Job Duties

  • Prepare food according to federal, state and corporate standards
  • Follow recipes and product directions for seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving a variety of foods
  • Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production and keep records for planning and requisitioning supplies
  • Walk or stand for extended periods during shifts
  • Reach, bend, stoop, push, pull and lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Perform repetitive motions
  • Attend scheduled shifts on time with regularity
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs and client requirements
