Job Requirements
- None for education
- One year of cooking experience for Cook 1
- Three years of cooking experience for Cook 2
- Must obtain Food Workers Card within 30 days
- Serve Safe certification within 30 days
- Certified Food Protection Manager certification within six months for Cook 2
- Negative drug screen prior to employment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of experience as a cook for Cook 1
- Three years of experience as a cook for Cook 2
- Previous institutional cooking experience preferred
- Must obtain State of Alaska Food Workers Card within 30 days
- Serve Safe certification required within 30 days for Cook 1
- Certified Food Protection Manager certification required within six months for Cook 2
Job Duties
- Prepare hot and cold meals for patients on therapeutic diets
