The Restaurant Cook at Life Time plays an integral role within the company’s food service team, working alongside health-minded teammates in a fun and fast-paced environment. This position focuses on preparing industry-leading healthy food options for Life Time members, consistently adhering to recipes and food safety standards. The role requires multitasking and coordination with other stations to ensure efficient and timely food production. The Restaurant Cook’s responsibilities go beyond cooking, including maintaining cleanliness, stocking supplies, and overall kitchen safety to support a seamless food service experience. This full-time opportunity suits individuals who are passionate about healthy eating and thrive in a fast-casual restaurant setting. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
  • Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
  • ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
  • CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in restaurant with fast casual or full service experience
  • Experience prepping recipes

Job Duties

  • Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro, including stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety of kitchen
  • Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishes
  • Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations
  • Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients while preparing food
