The Blake at (Community Name) is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Cook to join their team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality culinary experiences to senior residents while maintaining the standards of safety, hygiene, and teamwork that QSL Management upholds. The Cook will be responsible for prepping, planning, and cooking meals according to established menus, ensuring that food quality and service consistently meet or exceed the company’s commitment to excellence. Job Requirements
- Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Trade school, associate, or bachelor’s degree in culinary preferred
- Two years of related culinary experience
- ServSafe certification if applicable by state requirements
- Self-motivation and creativity in culinary experience a plus
- Good knife skills and familiarity with all cooking methods
- Experience with therapeutic or modified diets preferred
- Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including holidays and weekends

Job Duties
- Prep, plan and cook meals according to established menus

- Stock supplies as needed
- Willingness to work in a senior living environment and prepare food which meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards
