Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year relevant cooking or food preparation experience
- Valid DOH accreditation or Safe Serve Certification
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina to work in demanding kitchen environment
- Ability to maintain hygiene and food safety standards consistently
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year prep/line cook experience preferably in high-volume cafe environment
- DOH accreditation or Safe Serve Certified
- Attention to detail
- Proven team player with experience working cohesively to achieve great performance
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high stress environment
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs
Job Duties
- Prepares, cooks and assembles food products following standard recipes and special diet orders
- Works closely with front of house teammates to ensure accurate and efficient food orders
- Preps ingredients to prepare for peak trade and deliver 10-minute ticket times
- Maintains a clean and hygienic workstation including kitchen equipment
- Stores food properly, marking date and item
- Receives and unpacks kitchen and food deliveries
- Reports equipment and food quality problems to General Manager in a timely manner
