Job Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
0 to 2 years of related work experience
Knowledge of basic equipment operation and food-handling procedures
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to perform repetitive motions
Ability to work scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity

Job Qualifications

High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
0 to 2 years of related work experience
Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation
Familiarity with food-handling procedures
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Good working knowledge of food preparation
Ability to read and follow recipes independently

Job Duties

Prepare food in accordance with current federal, state, and corporate standards
Follow recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, and serving a variety of foods
Taste products and read menus to ensure quality and consistency
Estimate food requirements and keep records to plan production and requisition supplies
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Comply with food safety and sanitation standards
Participate in teamwork to support kitchen operations
