The position available is for a Cook at Sodexo’s Holy Family Manor location. This part-time rotational shift role offers a competitive pay range of $20 to $22 per hour and requires availability for varying shifts, with open availability preferred. The Cook plays a vital role in the kitchen team, responsible for preparing, cooking, portioning, and presenting a broad variety of hot and cold food items for different meal periods and special events. Working within a fast-paced environment, the Cook must adhere strictly to Sodexo’s culinary standards that emphasize quality, presentation, and consistency to ensure an exceptional dining experience for all guests. Additionally, the Cook is expected to maintain a high standard of food safety and sanitation practices to comply with federal, state, and corporate guidelines. This role demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions, often lifting weights up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of basic equipment operation and food-handling procedures
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Ability to work scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience

- Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation
