Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of basic equipment operation and food-handling procedures
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation
  • Familiarity with food-handling procedures
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good working knowledge of food preparation
  • Ability to read and follow recipes independently

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with current federal, state, and corporate standards
  • Follow recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, and serving a variety of foods
  • Taste products and read menus to ensure quality and consistency
  • Estimate food requirements and keep records to plan production and requisition supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Comply with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Participate in teamwork to support kitchen operations
