Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of basic operation of kitchen equipment and food-handling procedures preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good working knowledge of food preparation
  • Ability to read and follow a recipe unsupervised
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Willingness to perform repetitive motions
  • Punctual attendance for scheduled shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Familiarity with food-handling procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards
  • Follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving food items
  • Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records
  • Attend work and arrive on time for scheduled shifts
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
