Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- operate kitchen appliances such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- monitor food quality and test for doneness
- set up and break down workstations
- serve food in proper portions
- wash and disinfect kitchen areas and equipment
- check temperatures of appliances and food
- follow safety and security policies
- report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions
- maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- communicate clearly and professionally
- develop positive relationships and support team goals
- adhere to quality expectations
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and stooping
- perform other reasonable duties as requested
