Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must be able to read and follow recipes unsupervised
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods exceeding 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions
  • Attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of basic operation of kitchen equipment and food-handling procedures
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Familiarity with kitchen safety and sanitation practices
  • Good working knowledge of food preparation
  • Ability to read and follow recipes independently

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards
  • Follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving various food items
  • Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records for planning and requisitions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned depending on business needs and client requirements
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
