Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to read and follow recipes unsupervised
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods exceeding 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of basic operation of kitchen equipment and food-handling procedures
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Familiarity with kitchen safety and sanitation practices
- Good working knowledge of food preparation
- Ability to read and follow recipes independently
Job Duties
- Prepare food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards
- Follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving various food items
- Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records for planning and requisitions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation
- Assist with additional duties as assigned depending on business needs and client requirements
- Work collaboratively with kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
