Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the kitchen during shifts
  • Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to work safely in a kitchen environment with heat and kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • Preparing and cooking meals according to established menus and recipes
  • Ensuring meals meet quality, nutrition, and presentation standards
  • Assisting with weekly menu planning based on resident needs and preferences
  • Following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment
  • Monitoring food inventory and assisting with supply ordering
  • Recording required temperature logs and sanitation documentation
  • Engaging with residents in a friendly and respectful manner
  • Working collaboratively with the dining services team to ensure smooth meal service
