Job Description
Ivy Park at Lake Merritt is a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group, located on a beautifully landscaped campus that provides exceptional quality, comfort, and care with five-star services and amenities. We are currently seeking talented cooks to join our culinary team in a full scratch kitchen environment. This full-time position operates from 11am to 7pm with a flexible schedule and a competitive pay range between $18.50 and $19.50 per hour. The role is perfect for culinary professionals who are passionate about cooking with fresh, high-quality local ingredients and enjoy creating exceptional food experiences for seniors in a highly interactive and personal atmosphere.

We invite culinary professionals with experience working in full scratch kitchen or restaurant settings to apply. Ideal candidates have two to five years of experience on fast-paced line stations or prep cook positions, the ability to execute flawless dishes efficiently, and excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor. Passion for service, a strong work ethic, and a dedication to creating exceptional food experiences are essential. Candidates must also pass background checks and health screenings, including physical and TB tests, and comply with health and safety protocols related to COVID-19 and other communicable diseases as mandated by regulations.

- Line cook experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant
- 2 to 5 years of experience on a fast-paced line or prep cook station
- ability to execute dishes in a timely and flawless manner

- must pass criminal background check and health screening tests including physical and TB tests
