The company is committed to fostering a supportive workplace culture that encourages professional growth, advancement opportunities, and promotes a healthy work-life balance. Known for its high standards of care and vibrant community atmosphere, Atria Senior Living operates a family of brands focused on enriching the lives of seniors by providing exceptional service and thoughtful attention to their needs. The communities are designed to offer a restaurant-style dining experience and personalized support, ensuring residents enjoy dignity, respect, and quality of life.

This particular opportunity is for a part-time Cook role within one of Atria's communities. The selected candidate will join a professional kitchen team responsible for preparing and cooking meals designed to meet the dietary preferences and needs of the elderly residents. The Cook will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience, which can often be the highlight of a resident’s day. The role requires maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness within the kitchen environment. In addition to culinary skills, the Cook will build positive interpersonal relationships with residents, colleagues, and other team members, contributing to a warm and welcoming community atmosphere.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15.50 to $18.60, depending on prior work history and experience. Atria values its employees by offering outstanding benefits, which include paid holidays and paid time off, annual anniversary rewards beginning at $500 for full-time employees, as well as annual score rewards based on community survey results. The benefits package also encompasses comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, along with a retirement savings plan featuring a 401(k) employer match. Tuition reimbursement for U.S.-based communities is also available. Benefits enrollment and reward amounts vary according to employee classification and location.

Atria Senior Living is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring a fair employment process without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other classification protected by law. Joining the team means becoming part of a noble mission to create communities where staff and residents alike are valued and supported. For those passionate about culinary arts and community service, this position offers a unique chance to contribute positively to senior residents’ lives while developing a rewarding career in a respected and compassionate organization.
