Job Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and hygienic practices
one-year cooking experience in a healthcare setting preferred
other cooking experience or successful completion of a cook's training program considered

Job Duties

Prepare meals for Veteran residents according to their individual dietary needs
prepare meals for special events as needed
ensure highest quality of prepared food items
provide excellent service to Veteran residents
maintain safety and sanitation standards in the Dietary Services Department
