Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • two years' experience in restaurant or food service preferred
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to perform medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work rotating shifts
  • compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • ability to maintain clean and organized work environment

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold foods with quality in taste and visual appeal
  • participate in planning, requisitioning, handling, storing, and serving food processes
  • maintain clean and sanitary work area
  • comply with food safety regulations
  • recommend recipes and menu changes to improve quality
  • forecast production quantities and maintain food production records
  • monitor refrigerator and freezer temperatures
  • inspect integrity of food products prior to use
  • assist in other areas as required
