Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our passionate culinary team. This role is pivotal in contributing to the kitchen's overall success by preparing and cooking menu items with precision and care. As a Line Cook, you will work the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm and must be available to work weekends. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized station, following food safety and sanitation guidelines, assisting in ingredient preparation, and collaborating with fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order completion. This position requires a strong ability to perform reliably under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on food quality and presentation.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a line cook or similar position
  • Ability to work the 2pm to 10pm shift including weekends
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing kitchen needs and schedules

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
