Job Requirements

  • must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • ability to bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • capacity to stand for an 8 to 12-hour shift
  • ability to work as a team with attention to detail and multitasking ability

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cooking experience preferred
  • ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • clean, disinfect, and organize the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
  • check the quality and freshness of ingredients
  • prepare, season, and cook foods according to recipes, indicated quantities, and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
  • inspect food preparation and serving areas, as well as utensils and equipment, to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak activity periods
