Job Requirements
- must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
- ability to bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 30 pounds safely
- capacity to stand for an 8 to 12-hour shift
- ability to work as a team with attention to detail and multitasking ability
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous cooking experience preferred
- ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
- good communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- clean, disinfect, and organize the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
- check the quality and freshness of ingredients
- prepare, season, and cook foods according to recipes, indicated quantities, and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
- inspect food preparation and serving areas, as well as utensils and equipment, to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
- substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak activity periods
