Within this esteemed healthcare environment, the Cook position at Windmoor Healthcare offers a critical role in supporting patient care through the preparation of nutritious meals. This is a PRN (as needed) opportunity, providing flexibility through various 8-hour shifts. The cook is responsible for safely preparing and cooking food for patients and staff in accordance with the menus and recipes developed by the hospital's Dietician. This role also includes assisting with recipe development to ensure the highest quality of food service. Attention to detail is paramount, as the cook must maintain excellent food quality, monitor the appropriate use of leftovers, coordinate menu changes, and provide support during special employee or catering functions.

The cook is expected to follow standardized procedures in the kitchen, prioritizing sanitation and safety.
