Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Visual ability including distance, close, color, depth and peripheral vision
- Able to work in low or dim lighting
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Responsible Beverage Service Certification required for California positions
- Compliance with California wage and hour laws
- Successful completion of E-Verify program
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is an asset
- Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Responsible Beverage Service Certification for California employees (can be completed during training)
Job Duties
- Responsible for the preparation of food items
- Maintain equipment and cleanliness of kitchen surroundings
- Work as a team to achieve standards in food preparation and delivery
- Prepare food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe standards
- Restock kitchen and cook line as needed
- Commit to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards
- Support all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise
