The role of Cook at Trilogy is a vital position focused on preparing and serving nutritious, fresh, scratch-made meals that align with dietary guidelines to support the health, wellness, and satisfaction of residents. The Cook works collaboratively with the Food Service Manager and dietary staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations, assist in inventory management, and uphold meticulous cleanliness and organization across food preparation and storage areas.

Job Duties
- Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using a recipe for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines
- Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies
- Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste
- Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable
- Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed
- Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas
- Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for residents and families
