Job Description
Out West Restaurant Group is the largest franchisee of Outback Steakhouse in the United States, operating with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences through its Australian-themed restaurant brand that opened in March of 1988. Outback Steakhouse is known for taking food seriously while keeping the atmosphere fun and welcoming. The company prides itself on promoting a culture of respect, camaraderie, and enthusiasm, where each team member, called an "Outbacker," is treated with dignity and trained to perform at their best. Out West Restaurant Group values fairness, respect, and equal opportunity, making employment decisions based purely on business needs, job requirements, and individual qualifications, without regard to protected characteristics. Outbackers play a crucial role in creating memorable first and last impressions with customers by providing perfectly tailored service and an AUS-SOME dining experience that makes every guest's day better. The company supports its staff with growth opportunities, including an extensive Shift Leader program, and fosters a hospitable culture recognizing hard work, perseverance, and leadership. They also provide a flexible schedule, meal discounts, and a company-sponsored Employee Assistance Program. The establishment is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas to allow employees to spend time with family and friends. Out West Restaurant Group has received notable recognitions such as ranking among the top 50 franchisees in the US for four years in a row and winning the 2022 International Franchise Association’s Franchisee of the Year Award for excellence in local community service. Additionally, they support non-profit organizations like California Care and CORE, enhancing their commitment to the restaurant community and employees' well-being. This position is hourly and non-exempt, with an hourly wage range of $16.90 to $22.00. This role is not eligible for tips.
