The cook position is an essential role within our kitchen operations, working closely with the chef and kitchen manager to maintain efficient and smooth food production. This role involves assisting with the preparation and presentation of a variety of foods, ensuring that all dishes meet the established quality and aesthetic standards. Beyond cooking, the position requires active participation in cleaning and stocking the kitchen lines after service to prepare for the following day, contributing to a clean and organized workspace. You will also be responsible for receiving and inspecting food supplies to verify their quality and quantity align with our rigorous specifications. Additionally, this role demands skillful handling of meats and poultry, including cutting, trimming, carving, and boning, to prepare ingredients for cooking.

As a cook, you will collaborate with other kitchen personnel in the preparation, cooking, and serving of diverse menu items such as meats, sauces, vegetables, soups, and other foods. Following recipes precisely and maintaining food safety standards are critical components of the position, as is upholding personal hygiene to support a safe and sanitary working environment. This role requires a balance of technical culinary skills, teamwork, and attention to detail, all within a fast-paced kitchen setting. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • At least one year of professional experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
  • Compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Willingness to collaborate within a team environment
