- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Food safety certification required and must be obtained within 3 months of hire
- One year of relevant food production experience required
- One year of specialized culinary training or institutional/retail cooking experience preferred

Job Duties
- Prepare foods for patients, guests, residents, and employees according to dietary requirements and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation and kitchen areas
- Monitor and ensure proper maintenance of cooking equipment and supplies
- Adhere to food safety regulations and obtain required certification within stipulated time
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of food supplies
- Collaborate with healthcare and kitchen staff to ensure meal quality and timely service
- Support the overall hygiene and safety protocols in the service area
