Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Food safety certification required and must be obtained within 3 months of hire
One year of relevant food production experience required
One year of specialized culinary training or institutional/retail cooking experience preferred

Job Duties

Prepare foods for patients, guests, residents, and employees according to dietary requirements and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation and kitchen areas
Monitor and ensure proper maintenance of cooking equipment and supplies
Adhere to food safety regulations and obtain required certification within stipulated time
Assist in inventory management and ordering of food supplies
Collaborate with healthcare and kitchen staff to ensure meal quality and timely service
Support the overall hygiene and safety protocols in the service area
