Job Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Tier-1 Child Care (CNACI) background checks
  • Must pass pre-employment and annual physical exams
  • Provide evidence of immunization and be free from communicable diseases
  • Complete all Department of Defense training including orientation, initial and annual training
  • Maintain a valid 4 Hour Food Handler certification
  • Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • May be required to obtain a government driver’s license and government purchase card

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Tier-1 Child Care (CNACI) background checks
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Food Handler certification maintained
  • Ability to complete Department of Defense training requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in food preparation or cooking preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook simple food items such as pancakes, sausage, eggs, and vegetables
  • Assist in food preparation tasks including peeling, cutting, and washing ingredients
  • Prepare and bake pizza and convenience items like chicken nuggets and fish fillets
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness by washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing work areas
  • Store food properly following health and sanitation standards, label and date items
  • Maintain accurate food inventory and rotate stock to prevent spoilage
  • Comply with safety, fire, and sanitation rules and provide exceptional customer service with courtesy
