Job Requirements
- ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
- able to work in hot and cold environments
- ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time up to 8 hours per shift
- frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
- manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems
- ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- visual ability including distance, close, color, depth and peripheral vision
- ability to adjust focus as needed
- ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- responsible Beverage Service Certifications required for California positions (can be completed during training and up to 60 days after start date)
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous kitchen or food preparation experience a plus but not required
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- good communication and teamwork skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- prepare food items according to menu standards
- maintain equipment and cleanliness of kitchen surroundings
- work as a team to meet preparation and delivery standards
- use proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe standards
- restock kitchen and cook line as needed
- commit to food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
- support all restaurant areas as business needs arise
