Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and maintaining proper temperature
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining cleanliness
- Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Reports faulty equipment or accidents immediately
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good relationships with coworkers, administrators, and managers
- Performs job safely and maintains a clean, safe work environment
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and follows HACCP standards
- Commits to personal and team safety measures
- Adheres to company policies and safety procedures including the use of appropriate protective gear
