Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and maintaining proper temperature
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Reports faulty equipment or accidents immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good relationships with coworkers, administrators, and managers
  • Performs job safely and maintains a clean, safe work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and follows HACCP standards
  • Commits to personal and team safety measures
  • Adheres to company policies and safety procedures including the use of appropriate protective gear
