Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years experience in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Knowledge of multiple cuisine techniques including wok and Continental
- Strong understanding of kitchen sanitation and safety standards
- Ability to follow detailed food preparation procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to professionalism and quality
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or G.E.D. or culinary apprenticeship or culinary school graduate preferred
- Two or more years experience in hotel restaurant, casino outlet or individual restaurant in high-volume specialized areas
- Familiarity with various cuisine aspects such as wok cookery and Continental cuisine
- Strong culinary background emphasizing high volume, quality cuisine and sanitation skills
Job Duties
- Prepare high quality and consistent food products
- Emphasize day to day communication skills and commitment to excellent cuisine
- Work closely with Restaurant Chef and Master Cooks on outlet operations including par stocks, inventory control, and quality of purchased goods
- Maintain highest levels of professionalism including dress code
- Report damaged or broken equipment to management promptly
- Report unsafe conditions to management
- Assist in implementing creative menus
- Follow all sanitation procedures
