The community features elegantly appointed accommodations, engaging social and recreational programs, personalized healthcare services, and outstanding dining experiences, positioning itself as a top choice for seniors and their families.
We are currently seeking talented and dedicated Cook II professionals to join our culinary team and help elevate the dining experience at The Peninsula Regent. This role is pivotal in crafting delightful dishes served across multiple venues within our community, including our fine-dining restaurant, a stylish Bistro, catering services, and diverse culinary programs designed to please a variety of palates. The Cook II position offers a competitive salary ranging from $20.50 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience, reflecting our dedication to attracting skilled culinary professionals. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a positive, morale-driven environment where your contributions are deeply valued and recognized.
In this role, you will have the responsibility of preparing high-quality meals that not only meet but exceed the expectations of our residents, who appreciate both nutrition and exquisite flavor. You will collaborate with a team of culinary professionals who share a passion for cooking and hospitality, ensuring that every dish served reflects the high standards of The Peninsula Regent. Additionally, you will be involved in menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining kitchen safety and sanitation standards. The position requires a valid Food Handler's card and encourages professional growth by valuing certifications such as the ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate.
Joining The Peninsula Regent means becoming part of a stable and supportive team with stable leadership and a positive work culture. Beyond competitive compensation, the company is committed to supporting employee well-being through comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance with 90 percent of monthly premiums paid by the employer, a 401(k) plan with a 4 percent match, generous paid time off, and an innovative Scholarship Program that supports further education and professional development. Early wage access through PayActiv and the camaraderie of working with a great team make this an attractive opportunity for culinary professionals looking to advance their careers in a meaningful and rewarding setting.
