The role of the Cook at 75 State Street is vital in supporting the health and well-being of assisted living residents by preparing nourishing and well-balanced meals that make residents feel cared for and at home. This mission-driven position involves creating meals that cater to regular and special diets, ensuring that every plate served aligns with both nutritional and presentation standards. The Cook will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment alongside the Food Services Supervisor, collaborating to offer resident-centered meal alternatives and to uphold stringent state and federal guidelines for food safety and quality. This role requires a commitment to cleanliness, safety, and maintaining an organized workspace to support the smooth operation of the kitchen. This full-time, non-exempt hourly position pays between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour, including applicable shift differentials.
