We are currently seeking a Cook to join our dedicated team at Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. This role is crucial in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences. As a Cook, you will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and service of a variety of foods within our facility, including large-scale meal preparation and baking. The ideal candidate will have experience in therapeutic food preparation and large-scale cooking, paired with a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the well-being of our residents by providing high-quality meals that support their health and recovery. The Cook will work closely with the dietary team to ensure meal consistency, presentation, and timely service during meal periods. Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in large-scale cooking
- Strong knowledge of large scale and therapeutic food prep
- Must be able to do some physical work
- Should be a strong team player
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
