As a Cook at Red Lobster, responsibilities are diverse and hands-on. The role involves setting up and stocking prep and line stations, ensuring that all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are clean, sanitized, and properly organized. Cooks are required to follow standardized recipes, quantity calls, and portion control systems to maintain consistency and quality in food preparation. The physical demands of this role require the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift items weighing up to 60 pounds safely. Cooks should be capable of standing and moving throughout the restaurant during 8 to 12-hour shifts. Being a team player with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively is crucial to succeed in this dynamic environment.
