The role of Cook at Aramark's BSWH Grapevine location offers passionate food enthusiasts the opportunity to bring recipes to life daily by preparing a wide variety of dishes with fresh ingredients, using the best cooking equipment. Scheduled shifts include early mornings from 6:00am to 2:00pm and late shifts from 11:00am to 8:00pm, providing flexibility in work hours. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy experimenting with different cooking styles, flavors, and cuisines while adhering to standardized recipes and production guidelines. Beyond food preparation, the role emphasizes health and safety, with stringent food safety policies and sanitation procedures in place to ensure a safe working environment for all culinary staff.

As a Cook at Aramark, you will be entrusted with preparing ingredients, using various cooking methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming to craft delicious meals that meet the company’s high standards. Your responsibilities will include setting up your workstation with required ingredients and equipment, accurately measuring and preparing food items, and safely operating kitchen devices such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers. Job Requirements

  • experience as a cook or in a related role required
  • validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations
  • must be able to acquire food safety certification
  • capable of basic math and counting
  • good interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
  • willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment

Job Duties
