The Cook position at Trilogy plays an essential role in sustaining the health and happiness of residents through the preparation of high-quality, scratch-made meals that comply with dietary guidelines and safety standards. Located in Noblesville, Indiana, this role is crucial in delivering a positive dining experience that enhances residents’ well-being. The Cook will collaborate closely with the Food Service Manager and dietary staff to meticulously follow recipes, manage inventory, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen. This hands-on job requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to support other team members when the Food Service Manager is unavailable. Utilizing technology for ordering and meal service, the Cook ensures efficiency and quality in every meal served.   • Minimum of 1-2 years similar cooking experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using a recipe for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines
  • Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies
  • Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste
  • Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable
  • Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations
  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed
  • Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas
  • Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families
