Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work up to 29 hours per week
- availability to work alternating weekends
- pass background check and drug screening
- capable of standing for long periods and performing kitchen tasks
- willingness to work flexible shifts including early mornings
Job Qualifications
- Culinary or hospitality school graduate preferred
- prior experience in food service settings such as hospitals, schools, or colleges desired
- knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to apply basic math for inventory and portioning
- positive attitude and willingness to learn
- reliable and punctual
Job Duties
- Prepare and present delicious meals following Executive Chef menus
- inventory and portion ingredients accurately
- assist in kitchen prep including dish room, dry stock, and perishable food inventories
- maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards
- work flexible shifts including early mornings, afternoons, and alternating weekends
- contribute positively to team environment by bringing enthusiasm and a strong work ethic
- adhere to company policies including background checks and drug screenings
