Job Requirements
- Two years experience in food service
- Commercial or institutional cooking experience preferred
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets
- County-specific food handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current
- Ability to work flexible per diem shifts
- Commitment to safety and sanitation policies
- Compliance with hospital and county regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years experience in food service with commercial or institutional cooking experience preferred

Job Duties
- Prepare quality food according to established food safety policies in a sanitary environment
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas
- Follow therapeutic diet guidelines as specified
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food items
- Comply with county-specific food handlers certification requirements
- Assist in inventory control and supply management
- Collaborate with kitchen and healthcare staff to meet patient dietary needs
