Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum of five years restaurant or senior living cooking experience
- Able to pass preemployment screening including fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references
- Some roles may require vaccination status disclosure
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation standards
- Physical ability to perform cooking duties

Job Duties
- Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization at all times
- Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards consistently
- Produce and serve menu cycle programs compliant with nutritional and dietary criteria and local regulations
- Prepare diets according to policy and procedure
- Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy and efficiency
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of cooking preparation and production
- Assist with serving meals and dishwashing as needed
- Represent the community in a warm and welcoming manner creating a positive marketing environment
