Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of five years restaurant or senior living cooking experience
  • Able to pass preemployment screening including fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references
  • Some roles may require vaccination status disclosure
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation standards
  • Physical ability to perform cooking duties

Job Duties

  • Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization at all times
  • Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards consistently
  • Produce and serve menu cycle programs compliant with nutritional and dietary criteria and local regulations
  • Prepare diets according to policy and procedure
  • Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy and efficiency
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of cooking preparation and production
  • Assist with serving meals and dishwashing as needed
  • Represent the community in a warm and welcoming manner creating a positive marketing environment
