Job Qualifications

  • experience in a food service setting such as hospital, school, or college preferred
  • culinary schooling or equivalent training desirable
  • knowledge of Servsafe and allergy training preferred
  • ability to read and follow recipes accurately
  • ability to work well in a team and contribute positively
  • hospitality-driven attitude
  • basic mathematical skills for inventory and portioning

Job Duties

  • prepare and present delicious meals and impressive presentations following executive chef menus
  • inventory and portion ingredients accurately
  • assist in kitchen operations including prep work, dish room maintenance, dry stock and perishable food inventories
  • ensure sanitation standards are upheld
  • support texture modified diet preparation and diet order compliance
  • contribute positively in a team environment with a smile and strong work ethic
