Job Qualifications
- experience in a food service setting such as hospital, school, or college preferred
- culinary schooling or equivalent training desirable
- knowledge of Servsafe and allergy training preferred
- ability to read and follow recipes accurately
- ability to work well in a team and contribute positively
- hospitality-driven attitude
- basic mathematical skills for inventory and portioning
Job Duties
- prepare and present delicious meals and impressive presentations following executive chef menus
- inventory and portion ingredients accurately
- assist in kitchen operations including prep work, dish room maintenance, dry stock and perishable food inventories
- ensure sanitation standards are upheld
- support texture modified diet preparation and diet order compliance
- contribute positively in a team environment with a smile and strong work ethic
