Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous food service experience preferred
  • ability to work full or part-time
  • willing to undergo background checks and drug screening
  • willing to work flexible shifts in a busy kitchen
  • strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary schooling or experience as a cook
  • ServSafe and allergy training preferred
  • ability to read and follow recipes accurately
  • strong work ethic and hospitality-driven attitude
  • experience in hospital, school, or college food service preferred
  • ability to lead and work in a team environment
  • ability to apply elementary mathematical skills for inventory and portioning

Job Duties

  • Prepare and present delicious meals following Executive Chef menus
  • inventory and portion ingredients accurately
  • assist in kitchen prep and sanitation
  • manage dish room duties and dry stock
  • follow diet orders and produce texture modified diets
  • maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • lead a small kitchen staff when required
