Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous kitchen experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen duties
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control specifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
  • Know and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations for smooth service
  • Portion food products before cooking according to standard sizes and recipes
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, and fryers
  • Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak times
  • Close the kitchen properly following closing checklists and assist others in kitchen closing
