Job Requirements

One year cooking experience required
Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
Ability to maintain high standards in food preparation and sanitation
Willingness to work as part of a team
Physical ability to perform cleaning and kitchen duties
Flexible availability for full-time schedule
Commitment to adhering to safety and infection control policies

Job Qualifications

One year cooking experience
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Culinary Arts degree preferred
Completion of state or local food safety training course preferred
Healthcare experience preferred

Job Duties

Accepting and understanding both verbal and written instructions
Providing high quality food preparation and service
Cleaning and maintaining equipment to meet department standards
Maintaining high standards of quality food production and portion control
Demonstrating a willingness to help with work that needs to be done
Taking initiative to not only identify problems, but to bring about a positive and sustainable solution
Supervising dietary staff in the absence of the Manager
