Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of professional cooking or catering experience
- Open availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to prepare food according to established standards and safety regulations
- Ability to use kitchen equipment safely
- Capacity to maintain cleanliness in kitchen and food storage areas
- Ability to follow company safety policies and wear required protective equipment
- Capability to work full time at the Delta Sky Club location
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in cooking, catering, or food preparation
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
- Knowledge of federal, state and local food safety regulations
- Experience maintaining cleanliness in kitchen environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and temperature control
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
- Maintains clean and organized refrigerators and storerooms
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
- Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
- Reports maintenance needs or accidents to supervisor immediately
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
- Performs job safely maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Ensures proper presentation and portion control following HACCP standards
- Complies with company safety policies including use of protective gloves and proper lifting techniques
