Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals according to menu, dietary restrictions, and standardized recipes
  • Ensure meals are visually appealing and served at proper temperatures
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation, safety, and cleanliness in food preparation areas
  • Assist with food preparation for special events or facility-wide functions
  • Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Monitor food inventory and report shortages to the supervisor
  • Follow all food safety and infection control procedures
  • Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure a smooth workflow
